Initial Evaluation

Full initial evaluation of patient in Flower Mound, TX

One-on-one care. Individualized treatment. Results that move with you.

Your initial evaluation at Aim2Move Physiotherapy is more than an assessment — It’s the starting point for understanding your pain, movement, goals, and creating a personalized plan to help you move and feel your best.

Every initial evaluation is performed one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy and is designed to uncover not only where symptoms are occurring, but why they may be happening.

Comprehensive History and Goal Setting
We begin by listening. Your evaluation includes a detailed discussion about your symptoms, medical history, activity level, work demands, previous treatments, lifestyle factors, and personal goals. Whether your goal is returning to exercise, reducing daily pain, improving performance, or avoiding surgery, your treatment plan is built around what matters most to you.

Movement & Functional Assessment
We evaluate how your body moves as a whole — not just the area that hurts. This may include assessment of:

  • Posture and movement patterns

  • Walking, squatting, reaching, lifting, and functional tasks

  • Joint mobility and flexibility

  • Strength and muscle performance

  • Balance, coordination, and stability

  • Functional limitations affecting daily life, work or sport

Personalized Treatment Plan
After the evaluation, we explain findings in clear language and develop a customized plan together. You’ll leave understanding:

  • What may be contributing to your symptoms

  • Areas of strength and opportunity

  • Recommended treatment approach

  • Expected timeline and goals

  • Strategies to begin improving right away

First Treatment Starts Day One

  • Manual therapy

  • Dry Needling

  • Therapeutic exercise

  • Mobility and stretching techniques

  • Neuromuscular re-education

  • Recovery and performance strategies

  • Biomechanical corrective exercises

  • Home recommendations to support progress

At Aim2Move Physiotherapy, our goal is not simply symptom relief — we focus on helping you move better, recover confidently, and build long-term results.
